Hows all .. Well I watched this movie few days back called Ellie Parker. Actress : Naomi Watson ( actress in Kingkong). Man!! what a movie...
this movie basically portrays how a woman .. struggles to make her career as an actress in movies. How she runs from audition to audition . Once playing the role of a woman who's lost her mother, once playing a worried wife, once playing a troubled mom and once a dying slut. Well.. these are a few of the many roles she dawns in this movie.. rather few of the roles she auditions for. And juggling along with this is her physciatrist ( pardon the spelling mistakes) who she thinks is lesbian and has a crush on her.. hehe .. she keeps saying " My therapist is "he-rapist !! " hehe Her bf who really doesnt care , her new found crush who ends up realising he is gay after a one night's stay at her place.. How her world keeps falling apart .. Hey not to forget , a friend of hers.. she def proves herself helpfull thruout and is herself a struggling actress who creates her own rules and ideals about acting. Well at last she( Ellie- Naomi Watson) gets a call back from her audition. On being on the verge of quiting , when she hears this news she runs for the final audition .. and does she make it..? ul c ..
Well.. for a " feel good movie" , this aint one of them , but this really portrays how a person struggles to make a linving . It shows that life is not easy going as we may think, nor is it too tuff, just how we perceive it.
Well.. there a saying in this movie:
" HER ACTING IS REAL , SO ARE HER TEARS... SOMETIMES"
Awesome eh !! this is a must see!!!

wow, does seem like a great movie.. will surely try to get a CD. I think a hindi movie was also made based on this story - Main Madhuri Dixit banna Chahti Hoon. It had antara mali and rajpal yadav. Exact same story.. with a few 'bollywood' twists
talking abt Naomi Watson,the name suggests tht the actress must have been born during Navami. :-)
